Registration
Welcome to the Providence Family!
You’ll need to finish all the registration steps before you can get access to curriculum lists and summer reading. So make sure to complete everything as soon as you can to get all the info you need.
Step 1: Download the registration checklist.
For your convenience, a checklist of all required documents is provided below.
All forms can be sent electronically to admissions@providencewilmington.com.
Step 2: Sign Financial Agreement
Review and sign our Financial Agreement and email to admissions@providencewilmington.com
Step 3: Review Statement of Faith and Handbook
Review and complete the Statement of Faith and Parent/Student Handbook Agreements and email to admissions@providencewilmington.com.
The current year Parent/Student Handbook is provided below. Any updates made to the Parent/Student Handbook before the beginning of the next school year will be reviewed during co-teacher training.
Step 4: Set up a FACTS Tuition Management Account
For tuition payments you will need to create an account with FACTS and select your preferred tuition payment plan.
Families on full opportunity scholarships may prefer the single payment option as there are no fees involved. For those on the 90% scholarship, you have the choice to pay the amount due in full or disburse it over the course of the year.
We ask all families, including those on full scholarship to create a FACTS account with a linked bank account so that we may also charge for curriculum items, field trips, and other incidentals.
If you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our school’s administration.
Step 5: Immunization Records (or Exemption Letter)
North Carolina law requires vaccinations for all students (public and private) or documentation of religious exemption. The required vaccinations can be found at http://www.immunize.nc.gov/schools/k-12.htm.
Please ensure your records are up to date and include all of the required doses and submit documentation to admissions@providencewilmington.com.
If your children do not have all the required immunizations listed above, you must also submit a Medical Exemption form or a letter indicating exemption based on Religious Beliefs.
To claim religious exemption, the parent or person requesting the exemption must write a statement of their religious objection to immunization, including the name and date of brith of the person for whom the exemption is being requested.
For more information about the required documentation for claiming exemptions, please visit: http://immunize.nc.gov/schools/ncexemptions.htm.
Next Steps
That’s it!
Prior to the beginning of the school year, there is a mandatory Family Orientation and Co-teacher Training.
In addition, Logic and Rhetoric students will be required to attend Logic and Rhetoric Student Training.
The dates for these events vary from year to year but will be available on the Academic Calendar.
